The Spioenkop Mountain towers nearby and a trip to the top (either a hike or a drive) offers a glimpse into this historical Anglo-Boer war battlefield. Also within easy reach is the Spioenkop Dam and Game Reserve, which offers horse riding and game drives. Em’seni is also proud host of and race village to these annual sporting events.
